We
distribut an supply a comprehensive range of Static and Dynamic UPS systems
from our main principal, Piller. A typical example of an integrated Powerbridge
Dynamic UPS System is a high performance kinetic energy store for bridging short-term
supply interruptions. It can store up to 16.5 MWs of energy. Total power failures
of up to two minutes may be bridged (depending on load). This Allows sufficient
time for diesel units to start up during longer power cuts. This avoids frequent
quick starts which pollute the environment and cause material fatigue.
In
addition, this system overcomes the disadvantages of battery operated systems
such as;
- Costly maintenance
- Unpredictable battery performance or ageing
- Temperature dependent
Another
integral service performed by our Controlled Power supply business is the provision
of turnkey systems integration for our customers' onsite Power Conditioning.
This involves the procurement, assembly and installation of our Controlled Power
products and systems according to our customers' specifications and requirements.
Typically, our projects are overseen by our project management team which comprises
a project director, project manager, supervisor and two assistants. The Controlled
Power supply systems are assembled and installed in accordance with our customers'
requirements, while the on-site day to day running of the project is the responsibility
of the supervisor.
